Unboxing The MSI WInd U120 Netbook

Some dudes at MSI Wind en Espanol have managed to get their hands on a pre-release MSI Wind U120 unit and have posted an unboxing video to the internet via YouTube. From the video, we can see that the new MSI Wind U120 is identical to the MSI Wind U100. It is said that Acer will launch the larger 10 Inch model Acer Aspire One netbook in February or March 2009. New MSI Wind U120 Netbook

Here is the new netbook from MSI. Weighing at 2.2-pound, the MSI Wind U120 netbook features a 10-inch display and Intel’s Atom N270 CPU running at 1.6GHz. This Windows XP Home-powered netbook also offers a 1GB of RAM, up to 160GB of hard drive space, a choice of 1.3- or 2-megapixel webcam and a 3- or 6-cell battery, depending on model. Its display screen provides a resolution of 1024×600 pixels.

Other features include 802.11b/g wireless, Ethernet LAN and Bluetooth, three USB ports, a 4-in-1 media card reader, VGA output, and stereo speakers. [MSI]

3.5G technology is spreading very fast. So, Fujitsu has decided to upgrade its Fujitsu U2010 netbook with this technology. The portable gadget boasts 3.5G (HSDPA) WWAN connectivity with dual antenna that boasts up to 7.2Mbps downlink. Other features include supports for Tri-band UMTS (HSDPA), and Quad-band EDGE/GPRS/GSM. Asus EEE PC S101 released in Korea

ASUS has held a press meeting at taewon Starbuck in Seoul to officially launched Eee PC S101, Eee PC 1002H and the ultra-slim 3G Eee PC. The biggest difference in the new 3G Eee PC is its lighter weight and sleeker compared to the previous model. PC S101 is integrated with Intel Atom N270 CPU and 1GB memory, It has Solid State Drive (SSD) for storage, a 10.2-inch LED-backlit LCD display, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, a 4-in-1 card reader, multi-touch toucpad, and 0.3 megapixel webcam. The Eee PC S101 will be available in three different colors, Brown, Champagne or graphite.
The S101 is available in three versions which are listed below:
- 16 GB SSD, Windows XP, including another 16-GB SD card: 699 USD
