Inside the Santa Barbara film festival, Angelina Jolie was all smiles as she accepted the “Performance of the Year” award from Clint Eastwood.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Jolie arrived to the ceremony with her partner, Brad Pitt, who refused to speak to the media - leaving the spotlight to Angelina. After collecting the award for her role in A Mighty Heart, the Girl Interrupted actress spoke about dealing with the insanity of Hollywood. Jolie said that it is much easier with Pitt and their children at her side, telling, “I think it’s the only way to juggle it.”

Forbidden to ask about the rumored pregnancy, press on hand questioned Jolie on what she thinks it will take for the press to move beyond she and Pitt’s off-screen life and onto more significant things.

“I think it’s going to take, partly, people wanting to learn those things. I mean, I know, that’s what I look for when I wake up in the morning — when I go online or when I get the paper. And you can find it if you’re looking for it. And you can avoid silliness if you want to. So it’s a personal choice of each individual,” Jolie tells.

A day after clubbing with Paris Hilton and throwing an after-party at her place, Lindsay Lohan was spotted back to her usual routine on Saturday (February 2).

To start things off, the Mean Girls starlet threw on her purple leather boots and headed out for lunch and a few quick errands around Hollywood. After a brief rest and a change of clothes, the 21-year-old took her girlfriends out for an evening of Japanese cuisine at Matsunisa in Los Angeles.

For the sushi outing, LiLo opted to wear her black spandex pants along with a purplish plaid button down, in which Lindsay seemingly ran out of energy halfway through the buttoning job.

The too-cute twosome was spotted in Los Angeles yesterday having a leisurely afternoon together. And from their casual dress, it didn’t look like they had any big plans for the day. The “With You” singer was sporting a pair of ripped jeans, a baggy button-down western-looking shirt, and a ruffled hairdo, while her quarterback stud boyfriend wore a half-zip sweater along with a baseball cap and jeans.

Adding to the superstition that quarterbacks with celebrity girlfriends have bad luck, Tom Brady (who is dating Gisele Bundchen) failed to secure a victory in last night’s big game. Maybe Jessica and Gisele can lend each other some sisterly support!

They’ve had one of the most successful and lucrative reunion tours in history, but even that wasn’t enough to keep them together. The Spice Girls are no more.

As for a reason for the group’s dissolution, they’ve cited “family commitments,” although insiders are saying that the real reason stems from constant arguing and power struggles. According to a press report, Mel C and Mel B were the proponents of the break up, telling the other three girls “We’ve had enough.”

But Posh Spice Victoria Beckham insists this isn’t the first time she’s been faced with such thoughts. She told press, “I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. I’m not in the music industry any more. I’m in the fashion industry.”

Their last concert EVER was in Toronto, Canada last night. As for ticketholders in China, Sydney, South America, and South Africa, it’s going to be a Spice-free 2008, as they’ve cancelled all of their remaining tour dates.

Talk about a stunning duo! Mandy Moore and Minka Kelly were spotted chatting it up earlier today at the Peter Som 2008 fashion show at NYC’s Bryant Park on Monday.

The A Walk to Remember and her Friday Night Lights pal then took their seats in the front row - enjoying Som’s tweed, flannel and fur offerings. “He took traditional ideas and made them feel really new. You get the sense he’s doing Bill Blass in another part of his brain - and this is the side that let’s it go,” Allure editor in chief Linda Wells told press.

Wells continued: “It (the collection) had a really clear idea behind it, but it didn’t feel like it was the same thing over and over again.”

French actress Marion Cotillard was among the distinguished guests in attendance for the Oscar nominee luncheon held earlier today in Beverly Hills.

The annual event, which was held in the Beverly Hilton Hotel’s international ballroom, is regarded as Hollywood’s most exclusive event - as only nominees for that year are invited. This year, 117 nominees attended, snacking on “a four course meal of medallions of grilled goat cheese, hickory smoked chicken with mango salsa, grilled shitake mushrooms and scallions followed by a chocolate mousse dessert.”

Cotillard, who wore a stunning yellow gown for the festivities, is nominated for Best Actress for her role in La Vie en Rose.

Mischa Barton was in high spirits as she was spotted leaving the celebrity-popular Joan’s on Third restaurant in Los Angeles on Monday, following it up with a shopping trip to Scout in West Hollywood.

The former star of the OC is back home after a recent trip to the Sundance film festival to promote her new movie, Assassination of a High School President,in which she plays the “popular girl” in high school. Speaking of her own high school experience, Mischa recently told press: “I was not popular in high school, I can definitely say that.”

Continuing on, the 22-year-old actress says: “I only had, like, three boys who were my friends and one girl. I was a bit of a loner, I guess.”

Some may say they saw this coming, and earlier today the Los Angeles Superior Court released an 11-page restraining order against Britney Spears’ so-called friend Sam Lutfi.

Some of the finer points of the order include: Britney met Lutfi in or about October 2007. Mr. Lutfi has essentially moved into Britney’s home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances. Mr. Lufti drugged Britney.

He has cut Britney’s home phone line and removed her cell phone chargers.

He yells at her.

He claims to control everything — Britney’s business manger, her attorneys and the security guards at the gate.

Immediate relief is necessary to avoid the risk of physical harm to Britney by Mr. Lutfi and to allow her to undergo necessary medical treatment without interference by Mr. Lutfi.

There is a hearing for the restraining order set for February 22nd. Until then, Lutfi must stay 250 yards away from Britney, Britney’s family, Britney’s residences, and the UCLA Medical Center.

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were seen strolling arm-in-arm as they left their posh NYC apartment on Wednesday night (February 6).

The couple were off to attend Madonna’s UNICEF benefit gala held on the north lawn of the United Nations building. Co-chaired by Gucci’s Creative Director, Frida Giannini, “the evening is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for orphans and children made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS in Africa.”

Highlights of the evening include a live auction hosted by Chris Rock and musical performances by Alicia Keys, Timbaland, and Rihanna.

A heavily pregnant Halle Berry was spotted receiving help back to her car by her bodyguard after paying a visit to a friend’s home in Hollywood on Wednesday (February 6).

The Monster’s Ball actress is excitedly anticipating the arrival of her first child with model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry this March. On another note, Halle recently spoke to press about having to “fight to get her part in new film Things We Lost In The Fire, because it was a rare example of a deep female character.”

The Academy Award winner tells: “I think most actors have to fight for the good parts. They’re so few and far between, especially for women. I very rarely read scripts with roles for women that are this good and this needy and this deep, and when I read this script, I connected with the material.”
